ORGANIC CHICKPEAS
Organic Chickpeas from Val d’Orcia
The chickpeas grown on the farm are from an autochthonous variety. They are sown in Mid-March and harvested in July and August. The chickpeas are screened on the farm and packaged in a controlled atmosphere, in our mill.
A very caloric food, rich in proteins, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, starch, mineral salts and vitamin A and C, as well as saponins, that help the body reduce cholesterol levels.
